Made “NEW” in Christ

Adopt a Minister International – Send labourers to His Harvest

“How do you feel after accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior?” Pastor Jay Policarpio asked.

“I think I’m FREE. Happy. Just relaxed. No problems,” said Fernando, 73-year-old. Fernando said he has diabetes and can no longer see.

Last February 16, 2019 while I watched the mass baptism of 266 precious souls at a pool in Davao, my attention went to 3 elderly people sitting in chairs. They had just come out of the baptismal area. I asked Pastor Jay Policario if I could get close to them. I wanted to ask questions. I asked in English while Jay translated in Cebuano, but the man answered back in English.

It’s so rewarding to be able to see first-hand how the work is going in the Philippines. I cried a lot that afternoon. I usually just receive baptismal pictures from the adopted ministers. At that time, I was witnessing in person. I told Fernando that I want to remember his face and for him to remember mine so we can recognize each other in heaven. This was when he said that he can no longer see. I am sure Jesus will make this happen when we are there.

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

To God be the glory!!
