A TOTAL of 897baptisms – reported by 8 adopted ministers
from 6 missions. These are just a few baptism reports for December.
Zamboanga Peninsula Mission – 111baptisms (by Pastor Rolando Villarma, adopted minister)
We had a special program here in Guintolan SDA church under MDIA District in ZPM. We conducted 4 days of medical outreach and 5 days of Happy Family and Bible Seminar sponsored by Bu Chen Central SDA Church of the Korean Republic and South Philippine Union Conference. Our District Pastor, Vilmar M. Mandalupa, and myself were the church pastors of this church MDIA family.
Praise God, we brought 111 precious souls to the foot of Jesus Christ. Thank you very much for your faithful support of God’s work through the adopted ministers.
Zamboanga Peninsula Mission -92 baptisms (by Pastor Alnemar Macarayan, adopted minister)
I’m happy to inform you that our evangelistic crusade here in our district was so successful. We worked together with our laymen and there were ninety two (92) precious souls who accepted Jesus as their Personal Savior. Thank you so much for all the prayers and support in the ministry. God bless you all together with your families.
Western Mindanao Conference -94baptisms (by Pastor Harold Baslot, adopted minister)
I am so happy again to send my report. Thank you so much for helping all of the adopted ministers in the Philippines so we could take care of our family’s needs. And thanks especially for your prayers.
Last Sabbath, we ended our Happy Family Seminar with Pastor Segundino Asoy, our speaker, with the baptism of 94 precious souls for Jesus, our Savior. There were 3 adopted ministers who supported this seminar.
Negros Occidental Conference – 84 baptisms (by Pastor Gilmer Ganza, adopted minister)
We are so thankful to God for His help and for giving us success in our major crusade in Bago City. Through giving Bible studies, doing visitations, serenading and praying, God touched the hearts of 84 souls who accepted Jesus Christ through baptism as their personal Savior.
Negros Occidental Conference – 146baptisms (by Raulene Jereos, adopted minister)
Our third evangelistic crusade in Kabankalan 3 District was very successful. Every night hundreds of people were attending the crusade. The speakers were the adopted ministers from Family Seminar, Health Lecture and Gospel Presentation. Trucks loaded with people who traveled 8 miles away every night came to attend the crusade.
The climax of the event was the baptism last Sabbath, December 15, 2012. Many people decided to be baptized on that day after they heard the touching sermon of Pastor Ebenezer Orquesta. One of them was a wife of our baptismal candidate who just accompanied her husband to church and witnessed his baptism but I was surprised to see her baptized, too. One hundred forty six (146) were baptized. One of the baptismal candidates was a 100 year- old man (but not too old to accept Jesus as his Savior).
Northeastern Mindanao Mission – 61 baptisms (by Pastor Peter Ganzo, adopted minister)
My public crusade in the district of Pastor Agapito Orendain, particularly in Bagyangon had ended. I praise the Lord for everything because, despite of many interventions such as: power interruptions, heavy rains, hoarse voices, still, we were able to continue the nightly programs.
The nightly programs successfully ended. During Sabbath, there was heavy rain again but praise be to God that out of more than 70 who’ve signed up the baptismal questioner, 61 of them successfully accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior through baptism. Praise the Lord for He uses ordinary people to do extra ordinary work as long as we place everything in the Master’s hand.
Northern Mindanao Conference – 59baptisms (by Pastor Reniel Legata, adopted minister)
I would like to report regarding our work although there were lots of trials and discouragements, but praise God because there was a great blessing for us. Our Happy Family Seminar in Xavier heights this month brought in 59 precious souls to Jesus.
Southern Mindanao Mission -250baptisms (by Pastor Danilo Mocoy, adopted minister)
Yesterday, we baptized over 250 souls for Christ….Praise God! The adopted ministers here in the Southern Mindanao Mission are very active together with the help of our almighty Heavenly Father. Southern Mindanao Mission has a goal of 10, 000 persons to be baptized. We are confident that through God’s great help, it will be fulfilled this year. Thank God…we are very happy to be a part of God’s work.
From Reva Moore (Founder of Adopt a Minister International):
The Year 2013 is here and we have another big challenge to keep Adopt a Minister going. Of our 400+ adopted ministers, only around a hundred of them have sponsors. May the Lord bless you tremendously so you could adopt one or more of the adopted ministers who no longer have sponsors. Since we all cannot preach, let us help those who can. And ‘thank you’ to our sponsors for your faithful support of God’s workers.
