Mary was chosen by God to become the Mother of Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Betrothed to Joseph, she accepted this role with humility. She raised Jesus, prayed over Him, witnessed His ministry and was devoted to Him until the end.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day, we thank God for all our Moms and Mother figures who are God-fearing and have played a positive role in our lives. It’s because of their profound nurturing spirit and unceasing prayers that we are being reminded of God’s redeeming love for us all.
