Romblon Adventist Mission just concluded its Children’s Congress. Children, parents and sponsors from three islands of Romblon came to Batiano Heaven Church (the church that I built in memory of my late husband, Edwin Wallace.) There were only 200 children registered initially but during the final week before the congress started, over 500 attended. Praise be to God!
Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

The Philippines has experienced several calamities in the past few weeks, from earthquakes to flooding. Just last week, typhoon Tino made a landfall in the Visayas and devastated a lot of provinces in Negros Occidental and Cebu. Many lives were lost and many were displaced. Please keep them in your prayers.
The Bible states that natural disasters like earthquakes, hunger and storms will be part of the “last days” and will increase in frequency and intensity. However, the Bible also gives as hope that after Jesus comes again to take us home, He will create a new heaven and a new earth where natural disasters and death will no longer exist. What a glorious day that will be. Come soon, Lord Jesus!
