“KINDEST STUDENT”….Fourth Grade EASTER Retreat…(I put her pic with Easter theme) Written in 2021 Kaitlyn sent this TEXT: “Yesterday we had our school retreat and the theme was: “Kind Like Christ.” We did fun activities and at the end, the homeroom teachers said, “The kindest student in each homeroom class gets a giant egg full of candy.” And there was only one student picked for each class and I was picked for my class.” This morning she FaceTimed and we asked her who did the picking and how many classes went to the retreat? She said the teachers and students picked for each class. There are 3 (4th grade) classes. I’m so proud of this girl. |
Last year’s (2024) Christmas Gift/Food Giving at Batiano SDA Church in the Philippines was sponsored by Kaitlyn who is now 13 years old. She donated her hard-earned money ($725) from her music shows. To God be the glory! |

I remember when Kaitlyn was 3 years old she’d stand behind my computer chair and she was seeing all the disfigured faces of our poor and needy patients without my knowing. I had no idea until one day her Dad (my son) called and said, “Momma, don’t show those deformed faces of the patients to Kaitlyn. She’s too young to understand it and it scares her.” So after we’ve raised funds for the patients’ surgeries I showed Kaitlyn the before and after pictures. After she saw how Jesus had helped them in those “after” pictures, she was all smiles. She said, “I’m happy to see the pictures of them smiling.” |
