There are no boundaries to God’s love and care
To God be the glory! In 2011, I went home to the Philippines and met the adopted ministers of Negros Occidental Conference. I also met our “Help the Needy” patients who already had their surgeries.
2024 – thirteen years later, Joseph (Joel) Escalante Jr., the little child in maroon shirt, is now a young man and a student at Central Philippine Adventist College. A few months ago, I received a “surprise” message from Joseph (Joel). Joseph (Joel) and 9 CPAC student literature evangelists are in Romblon. They visited the Batiano SDA Church and the guesthouse. Indeed, we have a very amazing Heavenly Father who is full of surprises. To God be the glory!
Many inmates are accepting the good news every day and give their lives to Christ through baptism. It’s because of you, our faithful sponsors, that we can continue this great work that God has entrusted to His chosen workers. He is using our adopted ministers and lay workers to touch lives behind the razor wires!
It is our greatest privilege and responsibility as followers of Christ to share God’s truth, to be His hands and feet and a light in this dark world. Matthew 5:14-16 says, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
May we continue to share God’s love, mercy and His plan of salvation every day of our lives until His return!
